Meta says it’ll keep Manus running independently while weaving its agents into Facebook, Instagram, and WhatsApp, where Meta’s own chatbot, Meta AI, is already available to users.

Manus has built one of the leading autonomous general-purpose agents that can independently execute complex tasks like market research, coding, and data analysis. We will continue to operate and sell the Manus service, as well as integrate it into our products.

The $20 billion Groq acquisition dwarfs Nvidia’s previous record with AI chip startup Groq in an all-cash deal. The deal excludes Groq’s cloud business but includes all chip assets. The company was founded by creators of Google’s tensor processing unit, or TPU, which competes with Nvidia for artificial intelligence workloads.
